12/29/2009 Cub Scout Ice Skating 4pm-6pm

The Cub Scout ice skating event is coming up at the Southside ice rink on 100th. st., you can skate with the whole family.

 $2 Admission if you bring your own skates.  Skate rental for additional $1.

Sledding Party

Get ready for SNOW!  Our annual sledding party will be on January 28th. (back up date is 2/4/2010) at the Byron Center Christian middle school.  Cookies and Hot Chocolate will be provided, dress warm.  6:30 pm. - ??

Council Winterfest

This event is a cross between a hike and a taste of day camp.  This year the Winterfest will be on 2/13/2010 at 8:30 am until early afternoon.   Details and fliers will be offered when they are available. The event will be held at Hagar park in Jenison cost is $12 for scouts and siblings and $4 for adult companions. Hope to see you there!!

 More Fun! Minimize

New Date -- Pinewood Derby -- New Location!

The Pinewood Derby is when you put together an official Boy Scout derby car and race it ( using only gravity to propel your car) down the track.  A very special guest will be passing out the cars at our December pack meeting to your Scout.  Derby rules can be downloaded here.

Time trials for the race are on 3/5/2010 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. at the ROCK at the corner of Byron Center Rd. and 84 th.   Click for flyer

The race will be held on 3/6/2010 and is organized by the age group participating.  Please see the handout for details of when your child will be racing.

Submarine Sleepover 4/1/2010

The submarine sleepover is where you get to sleep on a real WWII submarine. (please see the link on the main page in the lower left corner)  You will get a first class tour of all the ships and items at the Great lakes Naval museum and we will have time around a bonfire.  Please  contact Laurie Popma (616) 583-0645 or see her at the next pack meeting.
